These Terms govern your use of the Zapt Movers website and the moving services provided by CPL LLC, doing business as Zapt Movers and Move Basic ("we", "our", "us"). By requesting a quote or booking a move, you agree to these Terms.
Section 1Our services
We provide household and commercial moving services in California and Texas. We are licensed by the California Public Utilities Commission (CAL-T0192235) and registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT 3438977).
Section 2Estimates and pricing
Estimates are based on the information you give us — inventory, addresses, access at each end, and the date. If the actual move differs from what was described, the final charge may differ. We will tell you before any additional charge is incurred. Nothing is binding until you sign the estimate.
Section 3Deposits and payment
A deposit may be required to hold your date and is credited against your final bill. The balance is due on completion of the move. We accept card payments through a third-party processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Section 4Cancellation
You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us. Deposits for moves cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be retained to cover the reserved crew and truck.
Section 5Your belongings
We handle your belongings with care and carry cargo coverage. Certain items we cannot transport, including hazardous materials, perishables, plants, and irreplaceable documents. Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within nine months of delivery, as required by federal regulation.
Section 6Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number when requesting a quote, you may receive text messages from Zapt Movers about your move — quote follow-ups, arrival windows, crew updates, payment links, and replies to questions you send us.
Consent to receive text messages is given directly to Zapt Movers. Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers with any third party for their own marketing.
Message frequency varies and depends on your move. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Section 7Your responsibilities
You confirm that you are entitled to move the items at the addresses given, that someone eighteen or older will be present, and that parking and building access have been arranged where required.
Section 8Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the coverage level you selected on your estimate. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income or missed appointments.
Section 9Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Section 10Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always posted here with its effective date.
